We Bring Faded, Oxidized RVs Back to Mirror-Shine.
Mobile RV oxidation removal across Orlando and Central Florida. We come to your driveway, storage facility, or campsite — and we never quote sight-unseen.
You’re Not Imagining It — And It’s Reversible
Chalky white residue
If a white film rubs off on your hand, that’s oxidation — not dirt. No amount of washing removes it, because the damage is in the gel coat itself.
Dull, faded color
Florida UV has broken down the protective top layer of your gel coat. The good news: your real color is still there, underneath — waiting to be brought back.
Streaks & black runs
Stains and black streaks from seams are surface contamination bonded to weakened gel coat. We remove both, then re-protect the surface.
All three are reversible. We do it every week.
The RV Niche Flagship — Not a Side Service

11+ years on RVs in Florida sun
Not 11 years detailing in general — 11+ years specifically on RVs, in the worst UV environment in the country. Most shops treat RVs as a side job. This is our flagship.

The right equipment shows up
You can’t reach the top third of a Class A from a step ladder — and that’s where the worst oxidation hides. We bring the scaffold and the gear the job actually requires.

A process built around your RV
We test-spot first, assess severity, then build the correction plan to match. Light oxidation gets a different process than heavy. No one-size cut on every rig.
Real RV Oxidation Restorations
A bare gallery says “we have photos.” Captions say “we have a process we trust enough to document.” Here’s recent gel coat work across Central Florida.

Oxidation Removal — $20 to $50 Per Foot
Most shops hide the price or quote sight-unseen and surprise you later. We do neither. Here’s the band, and exactly when each tier applies.
| Severity | Service | Price | When it applies |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | Enhancement (machine polish) | $20/ft | Mild dulling, light fade, water spots. Gel coat is mostly healthy. |
| Moderate | Restoration — Light | $30/ft | Visible fade, chalky in places, no deep damage. Two-stage cut and polish. |
| Heavy | Restoration — Heavy | $40–$50/ft | Severe oxidation, full chalk, deep gel coat damage. Multi-stage cut, polish, seal. |
The Multi-Stage Restoration Process
Inspection & test spot
We assess severity and run a test spot in an inconspicuous area to confirm the right cut level before committing to the full rig.
Multi-stage cut
Heavy compound, then medium, then fine. Each stage removes oxidation layer by layer until the surface is clean.
Polish to gloss
Restores depth and clarity. This is where the mirror finish comes back to your gel coat.
Seal & protect
Wax, sealant, or — recommended for Florida — a ceramic coating to lock in the work and slow oxidation’s return.
Without protection after restoration, oxidation returns faster than the first time. We’ll talk through your options — wax, sealant, or ceramic — with no upsell pressure.

RV Oxidation Removal FAQ
Can oxidation be removed completely, or just hidden?
Completely — when the gel coat still has enough thickness left. Oxidation is a breakdown of the top layer of gel coat; we cut past the damaged layer and polish the healthy material underneath back to gloss. We confirm there’s enough gel coat to work with during the on-site test spot, so you’re never paying for a result we can’t deliver.
Will it come back? How fast?
Oxidation always returns eventually in Florida — UV never stops. But how fast depends entirely on protection. Bare, unprotected gel coat can start chalking again within months. A proper sealant buys you a year or more; a ceramic coating can protect the finish for years. That’s why we always finish with a protection step.
Do I have to be there during the service?
No. Once we’ve done the on-site estimate and you’ve approved the work, you don’t need to be present. Many customers leave the RV at home, at a storage lot, or at the campsite and come back to a finished rig. We just need access and a water source.
How long does a typical oxidation job take?
It depends on size and severity. A light enhancement on a travel trailer can be a few hours; a heavy multi-stage restoration on a 40ft Class A can run a full day or more. We give you a realistic time window with your estimate so there are no surprises.
Do you offer ceramic coating after restoration?
Yes — and for Florida RVs we recommend it. A ceramic coating locks in the gloss we just restored and dramatically slows the return of oxidation. You can read about RV ceramic coating here.
What if my RV is in storage?
That’s common and not a problem. We handle access logistics with most Central Florida storage facilities and campgrounds. Tell us where the rig is parked and we’ll coordinate getting in to do the estimate and the work.
