The Best Time to Coat an RV Is When It Still Looks New.
Premium mobile ceramic coating for newer RVs and freshly restored coaches. Stop oxidation before it starts. Free on-site estimate across Orlando and Central Florida.
Protect the Finish Before Florida Takes It
Stops UV damage before it starts
Florida UV is the #1 killer of RV finishes. A ceramic coating blocks the breakdown that causes oxidation — so the fade never gets started.
Makes washing dramatically easier
Water and dirt slide off a coated surface instead of bonding to it. Most owners cut their wash time roughly in half.
Protects resale value
A protected RV holds its appearance and its color. Buyers notice a glossy, well-kept rig — and so do dealers.
Whether your RV is new or freshly restored, ceramic is the smartest single investment you can make in keeping it that way.
The Honest, Expert Choice for RV Ceramic

11+ years protecting RVs in Florida sun
The same climate experience behind our restoration work — applied here to prevention. We know exactly what Florida UV does to a finish, and how to stop it.

Ceramic only bonds correctly to a properly prepped surface. Coat over chalky or oxidized gel coat and you lock the damage in — premium money for a coating that can’t perform. We’d rather tell you upfront that you need polishing first.

UndrDog HCC — the premium product
We name our product because we stand behind it. UndrDog HCC (Hybrid Ceramic Coating) is what goes on every RV ceramic job. Tier pricing comes from prep depth — never from layering games.
Ceramic Coating — Starting at $70 Per Foot
The coating cost is constant. What changes is the prep your gel coat needs — and we quote that honestly, on-site, before you commit.
| RV Condition | Prep Required | Coating | Total Per Foot |
|---|---|---|---|
| New / clear coat healthy | Enhancement polish ($20/ft) | HCC ($50/ft) | $70/ft |
| Light oxidation | Restoration — Light ($30/ft) | HCC ($50/ft) | $80/ft |
| Heavy oxidation | Restoration — Heavy ($50/ft) | HCC ($50/ft) | $100/ft |

What Ceramic Coating Does Not Do
Most pages overpromise. We’d rather under-promise and over-deliver — so you know exactly what you’re buying.
It doesn’t make your RV scratch-proof
Ceramic adds hardness and protection, but it’s not armor. Careful washing still matters.
It doesn’t replace washing
It makes washing far easier and less frequent — but a coated RV still needs to be washed.
It doesn’t apply to your roof
No appropriate ceramic product exists for RV roof membrane materials. We’re honest about that — we don’t coat roofs.
It doesn’t fix existing damage
That’s what oxidation removal is for — a separate service with its own pricing. Start with oxidation removal →

RV Ceramic Coating FAQ
How long does ceramic coating last?
On a properly prepped RV in Florida, expect multiple years of protection from a single application of UndrDog HCC — significantly longer than wax or sealant. Exact longevity depends on storage, washing habits, and sun exposure. We give you realistic expectations and a maintenance plan at the estimate.
What if my RV is already oxidized?
Then it needs oxidation removal first — we won’t coat over chalky or oxidized gel coat, because the coating can’t bond and you’d be locking the damage in. We’ll restore the gel coat, then coat it. It’s two steps for a reason, and we’ll quote both honestly. See RV oxidation removal.
Why can’t I just wax it instead?
You can — but wax lasts weeks to a few months in Florida sun and offers far less UV protection. Ceramic bonds to the surface and protects for years. For an RV that lives outdoors in Central Florida, ceramic is simply the better long-term value.
Why don’t you coat the roof?
Because there’s no appropriate ceramic product for the rubber/TPO membrane materials most RV roofs are made of. Coating a roof with the wrong product does nothing useful. We’d rather tell you that than sell you something that won’t work. (Ask us about proper RV roof cleaning and sealing instead.)
Do I need to do anything to maintain it?
Just wash it normally — which will be easier than before. We’ll give you simple care instructions, and we offer a yearly maintenance check to keep the coating performing at its best.
Can I drive on it right after?
The coating needs cure time before exposure to rain or washing. We’ll tell you the exact window for your job and how to handle the first few days so the coating cures hard and clear.
