RV Roof Cleaning Florida

Professional RV Roof Cleaning & Sealing — Florida

Don't wait for a leak. Florida sun, humidity, and mold degrade RV roofs faster than anywhere else. Professional cleaning and UV sealing protects your most critical surface.

⚠ Neglected roofs lead to cracking, seal failure, and expensive interior water damage.

Why Florida is the Worst State for RV Roof Health

A $300 roof cleaning can prevent $15,000 in interior water damage repairs. Here is what your roof is battling.

☀️

UV Membrane Degradation

Florida's year-round UV index causes rubber (EPDM) and TPO roofing membranes to dry out, crack, and shrink at the seams — the very first step toward catastrophic water infiltration.

🦠

Mold & Black Streaks

Humidity and heavy rainfall create ideal conditions for algae and organic buildup. When this washes off the roof, it runs down your coach creating permanent black streaks on the sidewalls.

🔍

Seal Failure

RV roof vents, air conditioners, and skylight seals are the #1 source of water damage. Regular professional cleaning serves as an early warning system for cracking caulk and lifting seals.

The Cleaning & Sealing Process

We use material-specific products (EPDM vs. TPO vs. Fiberglass) to safely clean without stripping the manufacturer's protectants.

RV Roof Cleaning FAQs

How often should my RV roof be professionally cleaned in Florida?

Due to Florida's UV intensity and humidity, a professional roof cleaning every 6–12 months is highly recommended. RVs stored outdoors or in heavily wooded areas should be serviced more frequently.

Can you clean my EPDM rubber roof without damaging it?

Yes. We use rubber-safe, EPDM-appropriate cleaners that remove mold, mildew, and organic buildup without stripping the protective coating from the membrane. Harsh household cleaners will destroy EPDM over time.

What are those black streaks running down the side of my RV?

Black streaks are mold, algae, and oxidized organic debris that originate on the roof. During the rain, this runoff flows down the sides. Cleaning the roof surface — not just scrubbing the walls — is the only way to stop them from recurring.

Do you inspect seals while cleaning the roof?

Yes. During every roof service, we do a visual inspection of vent, AC, and skylight seals. We flag any areas showing early cracking or lifting so you know exactly what needs attention before water gets inside.
